Is my credit card information secure?

Absolutely. We never see, store, or handle your credit card details. All payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, one of the most trusted payment platforms in the world.

Will I receive a receipt?

Yes. After your donation is processed, Stripe will automatically send a receipt to the email address you provide on the donation form.

How much of my donation goes to the charity vs. fees?

Stripe charges a processing fee of 2.2% + $0.30 per transaction. Everything else goes directly to the club. The application itself costs almost nothing to run and is maintained by the club at no additional charge to donors.

Where do the fees go?

The fees go solely to Stripe for payment processing. The club covers all other costs of running this application.

Is my donation anonymous?

We never share donation information publicly. However, for transparency and tracking purposes:

  • The player you designate will be able to see your donation.
  • The board will have visibility into who made each donation.
Why do we need your transaction ID from Benevity?

So we can associate the player with the donation in our records. Benevity processes donations independently, so without the transaction ID we have no way to link your contribution to the player you intended to support.

Why don't you use GoFundMe, Venmo, or other popular tools?

We built this to keep fees as low as possible. Most popular fundraising platforms charge significantly higher fees on top of payment processing. By going directly through Stripe, we ensure the maximum amount of every dollar you give reaches the club.
